Africa is WHEN??????

It is only October.... Africa/Selous/Southern Tanzania and the Indian Ocean are MONTHS away. I have to clock in lots of work hours before I get to feast on fine food, wine, and do nothing but take pictures, chat with our private driver Charles, take walking safaris, and swim in the Indian Ocean. Ohhhhhhhhh I am a waiting!! Next week I am travelling again... but alas, only a 45 minute planetrip from Fresno to Lost Wages. And it isn't even for pleasure. Oh wait, the nursing conference is during the day.... Friend Kim and I will have the evenings to enjoy the good food, casinos, free booze whilst disarming the "one armed bandits" and attending the shows. Circus de Soleil..... We were gonna spend the evening oogling the Las Vegas Wranglers on the Hockey Ice... but the Wrangers are packing up and going to Anchorage, Alaska that week..... ( I get to boo them tonight at our local hockey arena.... Fresno Falcons V. Las Vegas Wranglers. Well.... thats all. Naptime before the game.

another week stressed on by....

Well, the week is over. Stress. too much stress. Keep wondering how the heck I am gonna make this next hols to Africa work out. But alas, it will. (Thanks Mum). I keep watching new shows on travelling in Southern Tanzania and my mouth is watering over swimming in the Indian Ocean again. So, now I shall get the enthusiasm back again.

Hawai'i is but a memory now.

Well. I returned home from Hawai'i on the 7th of July and got back into the swing of work..... oooh it has been just over an month and I am ready for holiday again. Sure, There was a hurricane and Tsunami alert on the Big Island.... and they had a 5.7 quake at Kalapana (black sand beach that is my favourite) Am already planning the next holiday.... Southern Tanzania... Selous. Gee... whilst Mum did the Selous I was supposed to be climbing Mt. Kili with Kitty and Ray (best laid plans of mice eh?) But that is for next summer.... on the closer horizon is a trip to Vegas for a nursing conference, gambling, good food and HOCKEY!!!!!!!! (Las Vegas Wranglers). I just have to cough up the funds for the conference. 450 smackers. I can do this. Will be cool to have a road trip with Kim. We can get a lil Hula Girl doll and label it Ellen.. and bring it along and take picks of HulaEllen having fun.

Well, Come 27 June, I will be off again to paradise. Mum is in Hawaii now, and Kit and Ray will be there shortly before I get there. Gonna lay on the beach, drink mai tais, snorkel and take LOTS of pictures. And check out the dolphins and maybe climb a volcano or two. Keep an eye here and you will read about my adventure and even see a few of my pictures. I will be taking lots of pictures to display in the Sierra Art Trails this October.
